Irish Thoroughbred Marketing (ITM) is a joint industry/government organisation that offers impartial advice to those interested in breeding, racing or buying bloodstock in Ireland.

ITM is a non-trading, non-profit-making organisation. Because it is funded partly by the Irish Government and partly by all sectors of the Irish bloodstock industry, ITM can provide all the advice and assistance that is required when purchasing a thoroughbred horse.
ITM operates a Flight Reimbursement Scheme whereby foreign purchasers at Irish sales can get their flight costs refunded to a maximum amount based on their country of origin.
Whether people are intending to purchase privately or at a public sale, ITM can provide information on sales companies, trainers and bloodstock agents who will be able to assist you in the purchase decision.
ITM is particularly aware of the difficulties faced by the first-time visitor to Ireland. Because of this, they can provide all the practical assistance needed, including booking hotels, arranging transport and organising an interpreter. ITM can also arrange leisure pursuits on request.
