HRI’s Racecourse Division is involved in the ownership and operation of Leopardstown, Navan, Tipperary and Fairyhouse Racecourses. These are multiple business units within the Racecourses with significant Property Activity and 2 Golf Courses. The mission of HRI Racecourses is to create vibrant business units operating on commercial lines with a business model allowing each track to benefit from income streams directly linked to attendance, betting, sponsorship and non-raceday activities, while ensuring that HRI racecourses are leaders in terms of quality of quality of racing and customer experience. Other areas of strategic importance include capital developments, use of new and evolving technology, development of people and the introduction and roll out of a racegoers database. |
Management team
Each Racecourse Manager is based on site, with a Marketing and Operations team. Each racecourse has a small administrative staff ensuring racecourse functions are carried out to the satisfaction of customers and all the stakeholders working on racing activity on the day. The finance function for the division operates from Ballymany, the Curragh, Co Kildare.
Key Positions
HRI Racecourse Division operates a functional structure, allowing responsibilities to be divided according to the organisations primary role. Each Racecourse has a manager and the Golf Course in Leopardstown has its own seperate Manager also. The Navan racecourse Manager is responsible for Navan golf activity.
