After the over indulgence of Christmas Day, get stuck into another banquet of racing that will satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. The four-day Guinness Christmas Racing Festival at Limerick is the perfect place where you can have fun, a few drinks, a few flutters and enjoy the hospitality and the craic that Limerick Racecourse has to offer.
The racing is very competitive and the Grade 2 Greenmount Park Novice Chase takes centre stage on the opening afternoon. It is normally a classy affair with the likes of Imperial Call, Hi Cloy and One Cool Cookie having won recent renewals. Other highlights of the festival include the Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Chase and the Grade 3 Freeman Keane Novice Hurdle.
