• Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival

    The 2017 summer racing season at the Curragh starts with the two spectacular race days on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May with the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival.

    The event attracts a diverse range of race goers including racing enthusiasts, punters, socialites, fashion aficionados, entertainment seekers and families. 

    Saturday 27th May featuring Europe’s leading colts competing in the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas (Group 1).

    Sunday 28th May features Europe’s top fillies competing for Classic race glory in the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas.  The event will also feature the big fashion day on the Sunday with Killashee Irish Tatler Style Icon competition for the most stylish ladies and men.  Actress Aoibhin Garrihy and 2fm broadcaster Eoghan McDermott are this year’s celebrity judges on the  expert panel.
