Henry De Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore with winning connections at Wexford racecourse

Wexford Racecourse is located on the outskirts of the lively Wexford town, close to all major roadways. The racecourse has been developed in stages and is now one of the finest tracks of its kind in Ireland with the constant support of leading trainers, jockeys, public and without a doubt the locals.

Racing from March to November, Wexford racecourse is best known for its popular Friday evening meetings during the summer months. In May 2016, Wexford became a jumps only racecourse  a year after switching from being a right-handed to a left-handed course. The best stables run their horses in the competitive racing programmes and this racecourse attracts a lot of crowds to witness the thrilling races. With 11 separate fixtures throughout the Wexford racing calendar with races of varying grades this racecourse always draws in a sizeable crowd.

There are numerous bars and restaurants, mobile food outlets, on-course betting facilities and free parking for everyone to avail of. With a mixture of weekday and weekend racing there are fixtures to suit everyone.
