Day 2 of the Dublin Racing Festival features 4 Grade 1 races, of which the feature is the Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle.

The Irish Champion Hurdle was established in 1950 and has an illustrious history with a roll of honour featuring equine heroes such as Hatton’s Grace, Flying Bolt, L’Escargot & Istabraq. In more recent years, Hurricane Fly dominated the race with five consecutive wins. Henry de Bromhead became the first trainer to win the Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle with three different horses when Honeysuckle, his star mare won the first of her 3 wins in the race.

There will be music and entertainment throughout the day, with popular Spring Break providing all the 80s dance hits from the Festival marquee to have you dancing into the February bank holiday!
