A historic and traditional venue, many of the
most famous races of the National Hunt (jump) season are held at Fairyhouse.
The popular County Meath venue is the home of the BoyleSports Irish Grand National, one of
the biggest sporting events in the country, which is run on Easter Monday each
year. Another major festival at Fairyhouse is the Winter Festival which features major Grade 1 events including the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle and
Drinmore Chase. Race meetings are held at Fairyhouse throughout the year and
many of the summer highlights are on the Flat, including the Group 3 Brownstown
Stakes and the Listed Belgrave Stakes. Fairyhouse Racecourse is just 23kms form
Dublin city centre, close to the village of Ratoath.

Bus Eireann provides a special bus service from the Central Bus Station (Busaras) on race days. It departs Dublin 90 minutes before the first race and returns after the last race.
Dublin airport is 19 km away and the N3 is reached via Blanchardstown bypass. Helicopter landing at the course can be arranged in advance.
