Fairyhouse Racecourse is one of Ireland's premier horse racing venues. Situated in the parish of Ratoath in County Meath. It is the home of the BoyleSports Irish Grand National held every Easter Monday. Many more of the most famous races of the jumps season are also held at Fairyhouse including the Winter Festival which features major Grade 1 events.

    Fairyhouse Easter Festival Saturday 8th - Monday 10th April 2023

    Fairyhouse is home to the famous three-day Easter Festival which is takes place from Saturday - Monday. All of the best horses, trainers and jockeys will be there with feature races including the Fairyhouse Gold Cup and of course the BoyleSports Irish Grand National which is the richest chase in Ireland and one of the most anticipated dates of the Irish racing calendar.

    The Fairyhouse Easter Festival features a jam packed line up of live entertainment including festival face painters, street performers, and after racing music headliners including Spring Break, Pilgrim Street, Bazza DJ & Sax and DJ Lance West.

  • How To Get There

    By Road:
    Only 23 km from Dublin city centre, just off the M3 or the N2 via Ratoath.

    By Rail:
    M3 Parkway is the nearest station. A complimentary shuttle bus operates from the M3 Parkway for the Winter and Easter Festivals.

    By Bus:

    Bus Eireann Service: The 105 Bus Eireann Bus also stops right outside the racecourse.

    By Air:
    Dublin airport is 19 km away and the M3 is reached via Blanchardstown bypass. Helicopter landing at the course can be arranged in advance.
