    Completely remodelled and reopened in 2007, Dundalk Stadium is Ireland’s only and first all-weather racecourse accompanied with floodlights. It is a combined horse and greyhound racing facility and is in regular use throughout the year. Dundalk has a long history of racing with over 120 years on the site alone. The new 10 furlong track, accompanied by an extensive stable block to house up to 130 horses. Dundalk racecourse continues its unique tradition combining horse and greyhound racing with top class facilities and restaurants.A feature of the venue is that it also hosts greyhound racing on a dedicated track. Dundalk comes into its own during the winter months when staging Flat racing on at least one occasion each week from late October to mid-March. The racing surface at Dundalk is known as ‘polytrack’ which is a wax-coated synthetic surface. With a variety of choices of packages for race days, spending an evening at Dundalk racecourse cannot be missed!

    By Road:
    Get onto the M50 from the N1. Follow M1 to N52 in Louth. Take the N52 exit from M1. Follow N52 to your destination.

    By Rail:
    Connolly train station to Dundalk train station.

    By Bus:
    Bus Eireann 100x provides a service from Dublin Airport- Drogheda - Dundalk.

    By Air:
    Dublin airport has a bus to Dundalk.
