From Waterford City, Dylan Robinson rode his first winner on Lake George in the Free To Speak Apprentice Handicap for trainer James Barrett at the Curragh in September, 2012. He began his career at RACE and spent time with Dermot Weld and Jim Bolger subsequently. In all, he rode nine winners on the Flat before turning his attentions to the National Hunt side of the game and joined Henry de Bromhead as a conditional rider in early 2015. He rode his first winner over hurdles on the de Bromhead-trained Damefirth at Kilbeggan in July of the same year and a first success over fences came at Limerick in July 2016 where he won on The King Of Brega, another trained by Henry de Bromhead. 

Dylan rode his biggest winner to date when partnering the Henry de Bromhead-trained Ornua to success in the Grade 3 Ballymore Irish EBF Novice Chase at Roscommon in early October, 2018.
