Alan Fleming has trained on both sides of the Irish Sea and is currently enjoying a fine run of success from his new base on the Curragh. He initially trained in Ireland prior to moving to England in 2008 but he returned home in 2014 and his association with leading owner Barry Connell has yielded many high-profile winners since. Alan rode with some success as an amateur rider but has really made a name for himself since he turned to the training ranks. His highest-profile winner since teaming up with Connell came in the shape of Tully East who won the Close Brothers Novices' Handicap Chase under Denis O'Regan on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival on March 15th, 2017.
