From Kiltealy, County Wexford, Colin Bowe is a leading point-to-point handler who continues to enjoy considerable success on the racecourse proper. He spent time with trainers Jim Bolger and Aidan O’Brien before branching out on his own. He ran a pre-training yard and began with point-to-pointers before taking out a full trainers licence in 2010. He was the leading point-to-point handler for the first time in the same year and he has enjoyed notable success with the likes of Snowy Morning, Shinrock Paddy, Clondaw Kaempfer, Askanna, Little King Robin and Shantou Flyer.
