From Innishannon, County Cork, Kevin Coleman rode close to 90 winners between 2003 and 2010 as a jumps jockey. The highlight of his riding career, which was cut short by injury, was his success on the Liam Burke-trained Sir Frederick in the Galway Plate in 2007.Â
Now based in Carrick-On-Suir, Kevin took out his trainer's licence in 2018 and enjoyed his first winner when Allhallowtide won at Beverley in May of the following year. His first winner in Ireland came when Sean Davis partnered Red Vermillion to win at Fairyhouse on June 25, 2020.Â
Kevin has a degree in sports science from UL (University of Limerick).Â
