From Monasterevin, County Kildare, Jarlath Fahey began training in 2001 and registered his first winner when Bodakker won at Gowran Park on May 4th, 2003. While he enjoyed success with the likes of Shop DJ, Maca Rince, Nanotech and Balladine, his undoubted standout performer has been Jennie Jewel who was a bumper winner, a winner over hurdles, a winner over fences and a winner on the Flat. Her biggest success, however, came at Royal Ascot on June 15th, 2016 when she won the Ascot Stakes Handicap under Ronan Whelan who was a neighbour of Fahey's growing up.Â
